We consider conversions resulting from pharmacy acquisitions to be among the most important conversions we do. Whenever an independent sells to a chain, the independent’s customers are somewhat apprehensive. By having their data accessible from the first day on, you are making a good first impression. This will increase customer retention and therefore your bottom line.

Two Point Conversions has converted thousands of independent pharmacies that have been acquired by chain stores. This experience is invaluable as acquisitions have very different needs than independent pharmacies.

Often, the employees of the acquired store do not know about the purchase until shortly before the acquisition takes place. In most cases our advanced conversion methods allow us to extract data from the pharmacy without the cooperation of the staff maintaining the confidentiality of the acquisition.

We often encounter acquisitions where the purchase agreement will not be signed until a day or two before the live date. Without earlier access to the data, there will be insufficient time to inspect and verify the data. In these cases, Two Point is often able to get early access to the data by agreeing to hold the data in "escrow" until the seller agrees to release it. The extra few days gained by this can be used for additional verification or fine-tuning.
